Get Involved!

At YHY, we aim to support youth and families in communities by addressing both their physical and spiritual needs, domestically and internationally. We always seek individuals who share our mission and can help us achieve it. Currently, we're seeking:

  • Male and female adult mentors

  • Youth volunteers,

  • Volunteers for international mission trips

  • Male and female volunteers to assist with donation supplies.

YHY will also accept High School Students needing community service credits as volunteers. To become a volunteer at YHY:

  • You must have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

  • Must be willing to support and respect the vision and objectives of Youth Helping Youth Organization.

  • Be ready to have a criminal and child background check done.

Volunteering with YHY

It was heart-wrenching to learn about the challenges of "Period Poverty" and "Period Shaming" that girls worldwide face. As a teenager, I struggled to discuss this issue with my peers on YHY's Cultural Exchange Platform. However, we decided to work together to solve this problem.

When I got the chance to volunteer and help collect, pack, ship, and distribute sanitary napkins to girls in Kenya, I was thrilled to be a part of it. I worked alongside my friends from Bethel Deliverance International Church, who also volunteered for this project.

Volunteering for the "All Princesses Wear White" (APWW) Project was personally fulfilling. We knew we were making a difference in the lives of girls in far-off lands facing these difficulties. If you can help others in need, please do so. By doing so, you may be the answer to someone else's prayers.
